Americans, Germans, and Brits

It’s D-Day.

The Limeys get here in a few hours and what am I doing? Screwing around on the computer.

Gary has been staying with us all week, and we’ve been doing a couple of laps a day. Of cocurse, I have no pics of Gary at all this week. Maybe later.

Jim and Aimee from Orange County were in again as well. They are both riding the best we’ve ever seen. We used film on them, so there might be some shots in a month or so. I never use film anymore so maybe there won’t be any at all.

Have a look at these guys. Jurgen is from Germany. He’s never ridden anything remotely theis technical. He got it figured out soon enough.

This is Josh from Texas. I heard Texas and I figured he was going to suck.

“Actually, I’m from Georgia”

Ri–g-g-ght. The HickHucksters ride again.

Homeboy had it wired from the get go.

Here he is on the infamous Boogieman log on lap two.

And he’s going to be an eye surgeon. Interesting choice of sports for a surgeon.

I leave you with this.

I’ll be out on the road for a week or more, so you will have to amuse yourselves for a bit. See ya soon….

Odds and Ends

It’s definitely summer now. Had a bunch of riders through this week, barely leaving me time to recuperate after the Japanese trip.

Barb got me good when I fell asleep answering the loads of email I got while I was away. I think peach looks pretty good on me.

Frank and his daughter Adrienne from Ottawa showed up for a tour. Unfortunately, Adrienne was having a substandard day, mostly due to the bike not suiting her much. I tried to get a good shot of her, but none of them were very flattering so I “lost” them.

Frank on Pangor.

The next day I hooked up with some old school regulars for a bit of locals only action. This was taken within an hour of downtown Vancouver. That’s all I can tell you.

After that, some Hawaiians came to call. We did a Seymour run.

More CBC shots.

We also checked out some new stuff on Seymour. Not quite finished yet, but some great potential.

The exit needs a bit of work.

Only a few days left until the UK crowd gets here. Maybe one more update and then I’ll be MIA for another week or so.

Sayonara

All good things must come to an end, and so on and so forth.

Barb and Toga doing the unload thing for the last drop of the week.

We finished off the week with a big Cypress rainforest rip. A classic wet day on the Shore.

The Sea of Green.

Yea, Brother Koji, we have come to worship in the cathedral of the Shore. Behold the greatness and tremble, for we are worthless mortals but the Shore is eternal…..(uhhhh, what?)

More action from Koji.

Sin, sending it.

Chaz decided to tag along on this one. Good looking out, boss man.

Toga, sportin the big wood.

…and the whole crew. Toga, Chaz, Koji, Sin, Barb, Chizzer, Noz, and Takeshi.

Sayonara!
