Kamloops Visit – Day 3

A day off the bikes with the family today.  I was going to try to suck you into believing that I’d gotten a ton of rad wildlife shots randomly, but I don’t feel like getting that tricksy right now.

It’s a wildlife park, they’re all in cages.

They do let them out sometimes. The eagles are all there for rehab after accidents.

Same for the owls, like this Great Horned fellah.

Chev like this little miniature western town.

Until we found some more wildlife that was keeping a room in the hotel.

Here, poke the goat in the eye instead.  At least when a goat bites you it’s not poisonous.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmooose.

…and a  kitty.

I think the owl was her favourite.

Kamloops Visit – Day 1

Yo Steve!  Happy birthday, yo.  Lets ride your turf, see what’s what…

Well, the bottom couple of trails are nice, but hard to follow.  You cut trails with a weed whacker out here.

It’s the upper trails that are the gnarly ones.  See, Steve just moved into 50 acres at the bottom of Greenstone, so he’s got something like 4000 vertical feet of singletrack to the back door.

Not bad, eh?

So all I got him for his birthday was this sunset.  Hope that suits you well, bro.
