Nice Accent :: Where ya Fromme?

The last full day saw us heading up to Fromme with serious hangovers due to closing down the Raven pub with rowdy rugby songs.

Funny how it took ten days to figure out how much Jedi looks like Shrek.

Are we not men? We are DEVO!

Upper Oilcan’s first big move. Stouph, I think.

Stewie on Big Smooth.

Stewie again on Sideshow.

Same stunt, different angle. Glen almost got excited on this one.

How ’bout all them beers last night, eh boys?

A coupla birds.

Some rollercoaster shots.

Well, that’s about it. The best Bush Pilot trip to date. We all got a bit weepy after is was all said and done (until Jedi dropped trou once again).

To Jedi, Skip, Stouph, Mark, Stewie, Glen, Ed, Pierre, Llew, Rocket, Chaos, Emandem, and Paul; thanks for a memorable 11 days. The country seems bigger without ya.

Of course, do I get to take some time off now?

..no rest for the wicked is what they say.

See More Butts

Actually,I’m getting a little tired of the Brits dropping their pants every excuse they get. This is the repressed coast, not London. Oh well, at least they’re clean.

Anyway, finally we hit up the Shore. Two runs of Seymour today. Lots of hotspots in the woods so you will have to get used to the sepia tone.

First up, CBC.

Powerful Pierre.

A wicked shot of Mark on the Gerbil Cage.

It was about here that things got a little complicated. Ed decided to fall off the log. Not a bi deal, but unfortunately the nature of his injuries left us little choice but to call in the Paramedics and Search and Rescue. In the end, it was a serious bruise on the pelvis. No serious harm, ladies.

Hey Ed, Monday is the finger day. Today is Wednesday. Wednesday is a wanking day.

It was only a 90 minute exercise, and then back to the trails. Here’s Jedi and a big woody.

Since the day was dragging, we hit up Pangor to get our flow going.

Second run, Boogieman. Everyone was pretty well punched, but we managed to hit up everything but the Piledriver. In all fairness, the boys were killing way bigger stunts but the fatigue and the ballbearing conditions conspired. Not to mention that Ed was in the hospital.

Stewie on the new stunt at the top of Boogie.

Emandem on the narrow thing beside it.

Rush hour on the corkscrew log.

Check out how hot it is. That’s the only sprinkler around.

Mt Kobau

Time to head back to the Shore, but first, a stop on the way.

Oh yeah, and a nature walk around the orchard with Mom. Nice eye for the poisonous beasties, Mom.

We stopped in at Keremeos for a rip on Mt Kobau on the way back to North Van. Here’s a pissed off biker. Must be that British bike….

You know you are out west when this is blocking the road. Giddyap.

Some rooftop related shenanigans on the drive up.

A group photo.

…and a “grope” photo. If you can figure out where my hands are then you can also probaly decipher the facial expressions.

Ok, riding. Stewie on the adjustable tranny.

Nelly on the same stunt.

Jedi.

..and again.

Barb cruising at low altitude.

Closely followed by dog.

The girls, going down (oops, I mean, uhh….)

Back out in the wide open spaces.

Some post ride beers at the river while waiting for the shuttle return.

…and the traditional “Everyone Passed Out in the Back of the Van” shot.

Ed, ya goof. I know you’re not asleep.
