And here they come…

This is what they came for (that’s a hundred grand on the roof of my van right there).

Oh, and this would be “them.” A whole pack of bike journalists from Canada, the US, Germany, France, and Japan.

After a great warmup session on some of the new trails in Pemby, we got down to work. Some guys on the Glory, the rest on the Reign.

The rain forest is looking pretty dry right now.

Some big climbs (actually a 60 second push up to Jim-Jam).

Then finish with some bevvies around the pool. Can’t ride too hard on the first day. Gotta hit the big heli drop in the morning.

Dave is just regular size, but he did bring a fairly large assortment of spicy snacks for us to enjoy between laps.

Stan got a giant workout wrangling bikes for over 30 riders.

Sorry about the no riding shots, but I was chasing the sun and didn’t have time to stop for pics. 4 days on the KVR and Reg and I really needed to give’r, so we did.
