Danny drops the same log. It’s actually about a 6 footer, and it feels even higher. Looks like 6 inches in thepic though.

Will and Wendy Get Wet

Welcome to Sunny BC!!

Yup, back to real Shore weather now. Ah well, it’s more fun this way.

Will and Wendy are from that hotbed of freeride, Maryland, and I go the impression that Wendy was along just to get away from her relatives for a couple of hours.

She had fun though. Check out that big smile.

Will had no troubles at all, even though the rain could be accurately described as torrential.

Admittedly, the wood on the Shore is actually pretty easy in the pissing rain. Grippier than when it gets dry and dusty, even.

The second run, it got seriously wet. This is the only shot I took as the camera was getting soaked every time I took it out.

Last Day….

…and the beatdown continues. An early start boded well today, especially as the dry weather looked to be coming to an end. There were intermittent raindrops all the way down, but no rain until the last few hundred meters.

as we were riding Seymour, could there be any other choice?

Here’s O’Dea about to end his day. He fell off the log and freakishly caught his ankle on the way in. I think its broken, but he refuses to go to a doctor.

Bug him for me until he goes, will ya?

Anyway, if you’ve noticed that he’s been absent from most of the shots, its because he’s been riding too close to me for the camera to come out in time. Especially in the last few days, John really rode strong this trip. He won’t believe me, but he greatly improved over the last year.
