The Lawnmower Tour — Last Day

Wow.

Another stellar trip. Man, 2005 was definitely an epic…..what a great way to wind ‘er down.

Harley basks in the spotlight.

Our own personal spotlight was highlighting the woods today.

Ralph getting the star treatment….

Peter gets off…

This next shot is my current favourite of CBC. The Millenium Log in case you can’t quite place it.

Frank cruising the old growth.

Some not quite ready for primetime on Salvation.

Peter on the same wall.

Holder….

..and Stefan, Synchro’s Log.

Frank on the Pangor rock.

The other Stefan returns for one more lap before returning home.

Frank had his strongest day today. Round 2, on Ned’s.

No hidden meanings or ulterior messages. Just a funny shot of a glove in the woods.

Jerks.

FreeRideSouth — Part I

This is the first day of the FreeRideSouth trip, but my buddy Brent from Etnies was also here, so its the full on sunshine states experience on this one.

First off, if you’ve never checked out FreeRideSouth, then do it now. Big Andy and Demo Dave should have been here, but rumour has it that they’re both scared and/or possibly old. Seriously boys, we miss ya. When are you coming back?

Secondly, Brent: Thanks for the new kicks, eh?

OK, on to the riding.

Gary thinks it’s hard…..

Donny thought otherwise. NOt bad for a bunch of Floridiots—uhhh I mean Floridians.

Brent is also on the Honda-Turner team, and brough along some compatriots to rip it up. Here’s Stuart on the latest trail on Seymour.

He was having all of it today. Synchro really has built a masterpiece out there.

Gary got the love on the second run of the day when we hit up the Ned’s gap. A little more flight time was all he needed to get in the swing of it.

Brent on the Pangor rock. Shot of the day I.M.O.

Barb wasn’t the only holder of a rainbow jersey on the ride today. Cara Leonard (who won the World Masters DH title the year after Barb) was out today as well. This is the new wave ride at the end of CBC.

Brent again.

Ooooooooooooooohhhhhhh…….sooooooo-ave and deee-bone-er.

Yeah, that’s me. Not to be confused with this big Polynesian guy named Taro here.

Good one Taro.

…and another artsy fartsy blur (its Cara) as it gets dark. 3 runs today. Nice work gang.

Christian and Andreas — Day 3

The bike is fixed (thanks again Steve), the weather is clearing, and we’ve got a score to settle….

Ooops, one more for the Shore. Andreas goes down HARD on Dirty Diapers.

That settled ‘Dre down for the day. Christian pretty much took over from here.

This next one is the same drop that ‘Dre augured.

We took a little wake-up call on Ned’s today. It’s hyperfast since all the trail days recently.

There was quite a crew out today, so we had a bit of a session on the lower Ned’s stunts.

Skogs was charging hard.

On the next lap we stopped in to help Jeremy on CBC.

They’re such an industrious people, those Germans.

Gratuitous tourist shots, Shore style…

..and some more trail work. Hey Synchro! You gettin’ this?
