Anyway, sick ride with Reg Mullet and Nick Quinn. We managed a pretty good climb up in the Naramata trails and had a great conditions. There’s still snow at the top, but it’s finally melting.
Got a rare one today. Well, uncommon at any rate. Pretty sure this is a Sharp-Shinned Hawk. Sorry about the lousy pic, but it was hard to get a pic of this guy and I still don’t have a replacement for my now destroyed G9.
Not what you want to see from your sundeck when you live in the Okanagan. This one blew up fast, but the fire crews got on it quick and knocked it down in a day. Still, it scorched 35 hectares and one house. I guess fire season is here.
