Nice helmet. Way to set the example.
Well, today would be the longest day, so to speak. It’s official now, these guys rip. We got to the tunnel in no time.
Contrast with last year when there were multiple breakdowns and super slow riders. My ass didn’t even get sore today.
So, my new camera has these art filter settings. Sorta neat, but I’m not sure they’re much more than a gimmick. Here’s a shot that I pushed the levels on in Lightroom:
Nice dramatic clouds. Here’s a stock art filter shot straight out of the camera.
…and another one.
Kind of fun, but nothing that cool. Oh, a good day for wildlife. Lorraine saw a Lynx earlier. These guys miss all the good stuff.
I saw my first badger ever on this section. Super stoked. They’re an endangered species around here. He was moving quick, I never got close to getting the camera out. Sorry. I’ll make it up to you.
Some more dramatic sky shots…
First a badger, then a snake? Sounds like it’s time for a dose of THIS.
We got throught he whole day with no rain, and it was a balmy 20C on the hill down to Princeton. THEN the rain started.
I think Jen is now officially stoked on the Cube Van camping program.
The guys in the tents? Mmmmmm….not so much.
