Another Epic

Will is also not afraid to pedal up, so we went for a spin up McDougall today.

Hey, what can I tell you? It’s epic. A couple of hours up, a half-hour traverse, and an hour down. Su-wheeeeeeet!

Even an action shot for ya. Honestly, it’s too much trouble to pull out the camera and ruin the flow on a ride like this. Besides, we had our own little private showing of NWD8 last night, and after watching Fabien Barel destroy some Euro singletrack, we were ablsolutely flying today.

Yet More Chocolate Feet.

Good old Wa. He’s sent me another one.

Hi Will. How do you like that? A brand new stunt for you, courtesey of Dirty Dave Diddler.

A reasonably epic day of fall colours and great conditions.

Will really liked this move. Why do the Brits ride so well and just generally make themselves so easy to get along with. We may never know, but here’s hoping this trend continues….

Our tenant Dan joined us for one last lap in the near dark. I’m including this shot as it represents the very first step-up/step-down combo for our Dan. If you’re not impressed, keep in mind that it’s his first one, it’s dark, and oh yeah…..he lost one leg in a motorcycle accident only 2 years ago.

Deja Seymour?

Well, the Wade Tour might be over, but I’m still in North Van. Looks like I’ve got a “local” tour to do, just for old time sake. Ian was in town for some Nokia related conference, and we managed to hook up a couple of laps on Seymour.

Yup, that’s Seymour alright.

Not only did we get a chance to rip Seymour, but Ian also got to ride a new Slayer on CBC.

Seems to work OK, too.

Oh, and we also got to sample some fresh woodwork on Corkscrew. The old Corkscrew is dead, long live the Corkscrew!

To cap it all off, we ran across a guinea pig that sent the Piledriver drop for the camera.

Better him than me. Another day, another adventure…
