Out of date trip info, but here for historical reasons
It’s Thursday, and it also just happens to be the first really warm day this year, as in 28C. That usually results in a good turnout.
That’s 10 people if you’re keeping track at home.
Lots of new faces, and a few new bikes too. Good times for sure.
And now for the gratuitous sunset shot, as is traditional.
What’s not to love when the kid is in school, the sun is out, and we’ve got nothing better to do than go check out more trails in the area? Also Barb is on night shift tonight, so we got a rare ride together today.

It’s warming up finally. This is probably the last cool day for a while. It’s supposed to be in the high 20’s in a couple of days. I guess I won’t be looking this cool at the top of the climb next time.
I didn’t even notice that there was another trail up at Rose when I was up here last week.

The rides are coming fast and furious now, and only a week to go until the youth rides start.
Thursday again, and we are definitely ahead of last year. It was April 25th last year when we hiked in to Rainbow for the first time. We’re driving in easily now.
However, the weather is decidedly a bit winter-ish with cold temps and hard hail.
BC weather means you just have to wait a few minutes if you don’t like what’s going on though.
For anyone wondering if they should be coming up in May for the Enduro, here’s a taste of what to expect. You should also expect it to sell out, so maybe get signed up sooner than later.
