Sierra North

One of those double days. I got a couple of cool Germans on short notice, AND some OG’s from the coast were up. Looks like we all wanted to ride in the same place, so it’s a Naramata Supergroup kind of day.

Or just a super day. Whatevs.

You can always tell when the group is fast, because you’ll get a lot of shots like this where we’re standing still. It’s about the only time I get the camera out on days like this.

Sickbird.

Somebody has good style…

Quite the dusty day out there.

Round two we had to hit up Drops a Lot. The Germans loved the drops.

The Canadians? Well, Nigel found the landing the hard way.

Chris and Some Locals

Another returning customer today. Chris from Edmonton visited a couple of years ago and is passing through town, so we hooked it up with
Chuck D. Railer and Dirt Dropout for some runs up on the Bog.

Chris was stomping all the skinnies and drops on sight, so we’re probably gonna have to find a mountain bike porn name for him soon, too.

Not that Chris was any slouch last time he was out, but he’s definitely improved his game over the last couple of years.

One of our young guns (Nik), is also starting to get into the BC flow. This isn’t a big move, but it is tricky.

Look closely at this next one. Chris is suspended on that rock. Cool line.

Kurt on an old teeter. What goes up…

…must come down.

We felt that 2 Bog laps was plenty, so it was back to the Mice for some more flow and vert on Drops A Lot. young Zack is coming along nicely. Gotta beef up them pinner legs there, sonny, but you’re good enough to hang with the old guys now.

No hesitation from the Chris man either.

Zack kinda blew the takeoff on this hip too, but the camera seems to like him. A lucky shot caught his good side even when it was going wrong.

We also went for our first visit to our friend Rich’s new winery, Misconduct. Excellent hooch from an excellent dude. Highly recommended.

Thanks for the grapejuice, my friend. I’d link up your website, but so far it’s not there. You can always try this link for Misconduct Winery if you’re looking for some info.

Kelly and Rolly

Time sure flies, doesn’t it? Kelly and Jason show up every couple of years, and here they are again for another round in Naramata. Things are much improved since their last visit. Now with more Chevys!

As previously alluded, it’s been sorta cool on the Coast, so Jason is having a bit of a hard go with the heat.  I did offer you guys some XC lids, eh?

Still, with weather like this I don’t hear much complaining.

Bluebird skies make for some nice portraits on Drops a Lot.

Postcard stuff.  Kelly told me later that this ride was the highlight of their trip, and they went to Silverstar and Williams Lake!

Another stupid scenic shot…

Quickdraw wildlife shot.  Crap quality I know, but it’s TWO fawns!  TWO!

Anyone up for a sunset dip in the lake?

C’mon dude.  If you’re gonna ponce about getting in, you know that Barb is gonna cannonball you.  Like a band aid!  One motion!

Speaking of cannonballs….Chevy returns to the first bar that she ever threw up in.

She got thrown out this time, but no hard feelings…
