First Ride of the Year

Well, I managed to get up this afternoon for a little spin. P-Dub, Kelly, and our old buddy Skip joined in for a New Years Day romp on Seymour. Skip recently emigrated to Canada (well, he’s here for a year of school as of last night, and he could be convinced to marry a local and settle down).

Kelly has already settled down some. No fear here….

P-Dub always looks shit-scared to me.

…and Skip.

Merry Christmas

…I’m going skiing.

The skiing was actually pretty good here a couple of weeks ago. Here’s my buddy Derek hiking up Seymour in the fog. Decent for the coast, anyway. We got four good pow runs in an afternoon.

Had to push another lap the next week at night. Backcountry night skiing is a bit easier when you’ve got all these lights nearby.

See ya at New Year’s, and if the site goes offfline in the next week or so, it’s because you guys are sending my bandwidth way over my limit. Thanks for making feel so wanted…..

The Lawnmower Tour — Last Day

Wow.

Another stellar trip. Man, 2005 was definitely an epic…..what a great way to wind ‘er down.

Harley basks in the spotlight.

Our own personal spotlight was highlighting the woods today.

Ralph getting the star treatment….

Peter gets off…

This next shot is my current favourite of CBC. The Millenium Log in case you can’t quite place it.

Frank cruising the old growth.

Some not quite ready for primetime on Salvation.

Peter on the same wall.

Holder….

..and Stefan, Synchro’s Log.

Frank on the Pangor rock.

The other Stefan returns for one more lap before returning home.

Frank had his strongest day today. Round 2, on Ned’s.

No hidden meanings or ulterior messages. Just a funny shot of a glove in the woods.

Jerks.
