Silverstar Rock Stars

Romo, Super T, Schnepf, Willows, Eamonn, Hansen, Tippie, what’s going on?  Oh, NSMB.com is choosing their new team rider.  Get this traffic outta my way, I’ve only get  few hours to get laps in at Silverstar before I have to babysit.  Barb went back to work this weekend (everyone say, “Awwwwwwwwwwwwww!”).

I also ran into our pal Gustav from the Puddle. I hear that all the wallrides up there are left handers.

Which explains this.

Look deep inside the mind of Brett Tippie…

Do I hear crickets?

Anyway, the Airprentice didn’t wrap before I had to head out.  They were down to four at this point, and Cam was obviously highly conflicted about the choice to be made…

Dynomite – Day 6

Last call gentlemen.  Should we hit the bike park at Silverstar?

No Joe, you don’t actually NEED a rear derailleur here.

Absolute hammer fest of a day today.  We got there early, and rode hard.  The trail crew has worked their asses off this spring and it shows.  We cranked out 14 runs today.

That’s 23 800 vertical feet of shredness.

Jim, who was the most concerned about getting full value for the riding, actually had to pack it in a bit early.  That was a HUGE week of riding with some highly motivated boys.

OK, so we meet back here next year…one, two, three, BREAK!

One random shot of some longboarders on the road down from the resort, and this one is a wrap.

Farah and Oli – Day 4

Off to the Star today. Aftera nice rest, the kids should be able to throw down a big day today.

That’s what I like about this park, you can find something for everyone. Even some nice skinny stuff to make the Brits feel at home.

Farah practices her trackstanding skills.

And Oli gets ready for his big crash.

The next run he missed a little lander and broke his helmet. No concussion (luckily) but a nice shiner.
