…they just get bigger shocks.
My homeboy Derek showed up today and is getting all up on the freeride action in Westbank. He even maged to hit up some gaps (when I didn’t tell him they were coming anyway….).
Just kidding, Shortround. I know you like the goats better….
OK, some new terrain yet again for us today. We dropped in to the 3.5km etrace to Powers today to check out the new hits that the crew have been working on. They’re not quite ready yet ( and maybe a bit underbuilt), but they’re pretty sweet nonetheless.
Brad had no problems with it.
I never noticed this littel addition before either. Nice RST shocks…..
How about two riders on a stunt at the same time?
3How about 3? They must all be related…
Cool seeing guys that like riding EVERYTHING. So many people are just into one aspect of riding these days.
Holmes here is a dyed inthe wool BMX’r who has recently made the switch. Like they say, “Real men ride whatever the F%$# they want.”
We already knew about Willy. He even cleans the broken stuff (although Javi styled this the best, but I didn’t get a good shot of it).
More young’ns on big logs.
Now you can see the BMX stylee.
Of course, not all the airs went as planend. Then again, not everyone has a BMX background….
Shot of the day.
We got a little sideways before this session was done.
I think he likes it.
Sideways in both directions actually.
Shortround even got a little bit bent here.
Pushing the envelope a bit more. It’s just like BMX.
Really.
OK, a first here. Shortround chucks a road gap. Way to go, girl.
Yeah Willy, we already knew that you could do the big’uns.
Javi on the Shenanigans stepdown, proving he can hang with the Hicks.
We used to be neighbours, sort of. They’re Wade’s neighbours anyways. But they came out for a rip to the Okanagan, so here we are….
Totally gapping on everyone’s names. I think the summer has caught up with me. Too much riding, not enough sleeping….
Another typical day on Powers Creek.
Well, except for the time warp on the spiral ramp. If you ever want to be in two places at once….
Oh, and a really big bug. This is a Pine Sawyer beetle, and it sure is funky looking. That’s my thumb for size comparison, so you know it’s a decent size.
