….and this is the last one for a while. Well, the rides will keep happening but I’m heading out on the road for a bit so I’ll be missing out.
The kids are getting dialled in on the trails quite nicely. Good to see them shredding so hard.
Yeah, we skipped the Tuesday evening session. I kind of wanted to rest before hitting the first bike park day of the year.
14 of us went out today. Everyone finished the day in one piece, too (although a couple of them were shaken up a bit. Typical bike park day…).
As usual, no pics were taken. You’re riding too hard to stop, and there’s these handy cameras around the hill anyway.
Dave and I did 15 laps. Old guys on fire.
Sure was hot tonight. I guess we’ll do Drops A Lot.
Too bad Saul jinxed it by saying how he hasn’t had a flat/mechanical/crash. Zack had a tantrum…
Several incidents like that later, we finished off with some jumps on the Tsweet Tsu hip.
We at least managed to get out early enough to hit the fireworks in Peachland.

Chevy even made it all the way to the end. They may not be quite like the Vancouver festival fireworks, but I gotta say that Peachland really makes up for it by letting you sit pretty much right underneath them when they go off.
Happy Canada Day!
